Reactive dyes of formula (I) are new (where D = the residue of an organic dye contg. sulpho gps. R1, R2 and R3 = H or 1-4C alkyl. B = alkylene or arylene. A = amino, alkoxy or alkythio). Pref. A is amino; R1, R2 and R3 are H; B is phenylene substd. by 1 or 2 sulpho; and D is a sulphonated azo residue, esp. derived from H or J acids. Used in dyeing, printing or padding silk, leather, wool, super polyamides, superpolyurethanes or pref. cellulosics, esp. cotton. A typical dye is prepd. by condensing H-acid sequentially with cyanuric chloride and 1,4-diaminobenzene-3-sulphonic acid, then condensing with diazotised 1-aminobenzene-2-sulphonic acid and finally cyanuric fluoriderphis 1-aminobenzene-3-sulphonic acid.
|
