Anti-theft support hook for garments - uses contact pin to close hook, which is connected by cable to alarm trigger circuit

The garment antitheft system is designed to hold the garment. The system is connected to a detection and alarm circuit. The system has a rigid U-shaped body (10) whose branches (20, 16) are separated from each other. One of the branches (20) has at one end an electrical contact (32). The other branch (16) carries at its end a movable metallic fin (26) which can be displaced between two positions. In one position the pin closes the U at its upper part and makes contact with the opposite terminal. In its second position the pin is retracted and the object to be protected can be placed within the branches of the U. A cable (38) connects the antitheft system to an alarm trigger circuit. The cable transmits data which indicates contact or non contact between the pin (26) and the electrical contact (32).
