With this contact piece for switches, a multiplicity of contact points are produced between the contact pin (2) and the contact tongues of a contact element (5) which run along the envelope lines of an imaginary rotational body. The individual contact tongues are integral with the attachment flange (4). The attachment flange (4), with the contact tongues projecting from it towards the flange centre, is stamped out from sheet metal. The contact tongues are subsequently bent out of the plane of the sheet metal. In order to increase the number of contact points, two contact elements (5) can be plugged into one another, the attachment flanges (4, 4') of the contact elements (5, 5') resting on one another and a contact tongue belonging to the second contact element (5') being arranged in each slot separating two contact tongues which belong to the same contact element (5). The number of contact points can also be increased by attaching two contact elements (5) with contact tongues pointing in opposite directions on both sides of the connecting plate (3). <IMAGE>
