PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the antistatic effect of a sheet by a method wherein an antistatic layer is provided in a laminated support layer, which is employed in an image receiving sheet. SOLUTION: As a core material, a polyethylene phthalate is employed. Antistatic layers are formed by applying a cationic arcylic resin as an antistatic resin on both sides of the core material. Cushioning layers are dry-laminated through bonding layers on the antistatic layers in order to form a support layer. Further, an intermediate layer and a coloring material image receiving layer is formed in the order named on one side of the support layer. Next, an antistatic layer made of the antistatic resin is formed on one side, on which no coloring material image receiving layer is provided, of the support layer. On the surface of the antistatic layer just mentioned above, the composition for a surface lubricity layer is applied and dried so as to allow to obtain a heat transfer image receiving sheet, which has a low withstand voltage after printing and a small poor conveyance. |
