Three part ring binder - has cam followers on drive plate and binding ring segments on slide plate

A ring binder consists of drive plate (30) with two pairs of cam followers pins (31) downwardly extending from a lower surface. A slide plate (20) has carriers (22) longitudinally spaced there along and a number of first curved binding ring segments (25) extending upwardly and inwardly from the top thereof. A pair of the carriers have cam grooves (23) in which one pair of the pins are guided to connect the drive plate with the slide plate while permitting relative movement in the transverse direction. A stationary base plate has two slots longitudinally spaced to accommodate and guide the other pair of pins and a number of second curved binder ring segments extend upwardly and inwardly from the top of the base plate and co-operate with the first segments.
