The object exists for a filter arrangement for a pulse-controlled converter with an impressed current on the DC side and in parallel with whose AC-side input a capacitor is connected of greatly reducing or completely preventing the load, which contains harmonics, on the supplying AC network and resonance effects associated therewith, by a suitable wiring up of the pulse-controlled converter input. This object is achieved by means of a series-path inductance (LF) on the AC side, which inductance is dimensioned in such a manner that, together with the capacitance of the capacitor (C), it defines a resonant frequency which is between the fundamental of the AC current and the pulse repetition frequency of the converter (P). <IMAGE>
