<p>The float controlled vent valve particularly for a hot water system, has a stopcock formed in its base. It has a cylindrical housing (1) containing the float (13), and mounted on the base (11), in which the stopcock (23) is fitted. The stopcock can have a cylindrical spindle (23) with conical tip and prismatic head, equipped with a ring shaped barrier segment (25) and a sealing ring (26). The spindle engages in a partially tapped hole in the side of the base. The vent valve housing can fit on a cover (3) and have a cap (4), to which a vertical spindle (5) is secured, whose lower end is formed by a mushroom valve head (6). The cap has a side hole (7), and is spring-loaded (8).</p> |
