The liq. fuel burner is used in a heating arrangement for a motor vehicle. The vehicle is provided with a side channel blower for supplying combustion air. The atomising nozzle (5) for the fuel is terminated in atomising chamber (9). The side channel blower (2) outlet channel (16) is arranged eccentrically to the atomising nozzle in a distributing chamber (18). This chamber is connected to the atomising chamber by performations (19) in plate (20). The eccentric flow is made more uniform by this perforated circular plate, on the nozzle stem (4) and plate is kept in contact with the wall of distributor chamber by spring load.
