Spectacles lens insertion machine - extends lens frame for insertion of lens via movable extension jaws

The spectacles lens insertion machine has a support for the lens and jaws for extension of the lens frame to allow insertion of the lens. The jaws comprise at least one movable extension member guided within an extension block, which is itself movable. The console carrying the extension jaws also carries a striker co-operating with the extension jaws, so that the lens frame is stretched over the striker. Pref. the extension jaws are positioned on opposite sides of the extension block the latter pref. rotatable through 180 degrees relative to the console.
