PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent bleeding, to obtain a highly minute image with satisfactory reproducibility and to complete water resistance of a recorded image by giving a treating liquid for enhancing fixability to an aqueous coloring material dispersion ink and a treating liquid for generating aggregation to a coloring material water solution ink. SOLUTION: Treating liquid (A) to aqueous coloring material dispersion ink of black pigment ink is permeable liquid and treating liquid (B) to coloring material water solution ink of color dye ink is liquid containing cationic substance. A carriage 101 places a recording head 102, and a recording head unit 103 having black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink tanks 20Bk, 20C, 20M, 20Y and respective color ink treating liquid (A), (B) tanks 20S1, 20S2, 20S3, 20S4. The heads discharge the inks of the respective colors in response to recording signal and adhere the liquids (A), (B) before or after the corresponding inks to the image area of the corresponding respective color inks. |
