At a housing part (1), a stylus carrier (3) with a recording inset (4) is mounted by means of a hinge (2). The recording inset is kept raised away from the paper of a recording strip (8) by an armature (5) of a magnet (6) by means of a hook for as long as the circuit of the magnet, fed via conductors (13) and (14) is not interrupted by external means. The system, mounted on a circuitboard (9), contains a microswitch with a mechanical elastic-spring arrangement which is switched to normally-open contact via a plunger (10) in the readiness position of the stylus carrier. This connects two conductors (11) and (12) with one another. When the current is interrupted, the armature (5) is released and the stylus carrier (3) drops downward. At the same time, the switch connects the conductors (12) and (15). The carrier is returned manually. When the stylus carrier (3) is lifted up, the holding nose (7) pushes the armature (5) to the left from its perpendicular position in the example, whereupon the stylus carrier (3) is held fast by the armature (5) pivoting back. This recording system is capable of storing information. Its structure is simple and therefore operationally reliable and inexpensive. <IMAGE>
