PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent exhaust gas from leaking to the outside through a clearance between a valve shaft and a bearing, even if the valve shaft is inclined to the bearing.SOLUTION: A valve device used for a turbocharger, is equipped with a valve shaft 2 which rotates a valve body 1; and a bearing 4 which slidably supports the valve shaft 2. The valve device adopts a structure in which a step surface A provided on the valve shaft 2 and a step surface B provided on the bearing 4 are press-contacted in an axial direction. A shaft side step surface A is provided so as to be a spherical shape bulging outside, and a receiving side step surface B is provided so as to be a spherical shape recessed inside. Therefore, even if the valve shaft 2 is inclined to the bearing 4, the shaft side step surface A and the receiving side step surface B only slide while keeping a contact state, and a clearance is not generated between the shaft side step surface A and the receiving side step surface B. Therefore, even if the valve shaft 2 is inclined to the bearing 4, exhaust gas is prevented from leaking to the outside through a clearance between the valve shaft 2 and the bearing 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
