PURPOSE:To control feed of treating soln. without detection of concn. of treating soln. to be fed and concn. of harmfulcomponent of exhaust gas, by feeding treating soln. on the basis of the chemical equivalent of the harmful component of the exhaust gas, and by adjusting feed of treating soln. correspondingly to the pH of the soln. having absorbed the harmful component.
