In the connecting device for at least two structural parts, in particular metal profiles, a plastic connecting strip (3) is designed as cold insulation bridge. The connecting strip is provided with latching devices (8, 9, 10, 11) which are connected to the two structural parts. Moreover, the invention provides a spacer extension (12) which fixes the two structural parts to be connected, in the use position, at a particular spacing. The connecting device is intended for windows, doors or the like and comprises especially small, cost-saving profiles. <IMAGE>
