The dishwasher machine has a control unit with at least two contacts of which at least one can be moved slowly by a timer switch towards a stop when the program control unit is switched off during the cleaning program cycle. The stop defines the contact movement in dependence on the pressure of the wash fluid and when one contact strikes the other contact it switches on the program control unit. Once a predetermined max. temp. of the wash fluid has been reached the length of time the crockery is sprayed is controlled in dependence on the pressure exerted by the fluid so that with a lower pressure the spray time is longer than with a higher pressure.
