Excavating arm for sand raising plant - has endless digging chain and buckets, rear removal chute for excavated earth, and displaceable sand elevator

Sand raising machine is used to bring sand up to normal ground level from a deep located stratum, and has a vehicle (1) mounted, tippable excavating arm (6) with an endless digging chain, and associated digging buckets. At the upper end of the excavating arm (6) is a removal shoot extending backwards to convey away the earth which has been excavated. On the rear side of the excavating arm, is a fixed or displaceable sand elevator with an endless chain on an elevator arm (7), and at the upper end of the elevator arm is a removal shoot (47) for the dug sand. On both sides of the lower end of the elevator arm is a screw transporter extending transverse to the machine's direction of travel.
