The present invention relates to a smart tag for managing, in real time, a transportation environment for and a location of a specimen, which is a bodily fluid or a piece of tissue of an organism collected for examination, inspection, or analysis thereof, in transporting the specimen, and a specimen transportation box and a specimen transportation management system employing the same. By applying the smart tag for specimen transportation management, and the specimen transportation box and the specimen transportation management system using the same according to the present invention, it is possible to monitor the current location of the specimen as well as the temperature and vibration state of the specimen in real time during transportation. Therefore, the present invention can prevent the specimen from being lost or deteriorated due to a failure in the temperature management during transportation thereof. Further, the present invention can achieve a smooth blood supply through rapid identification of the location of required blood in an emergency condition, and allows individual management of an infectious specimen to thereby prevent an accident during a blood transfusion.
