<p>The magnetic conveyor has a frame with a non-magnetic slide plate, under which a set of ch ains work in guides. Magnet units extending at right angles to the travel direction are secured to the chains, generating fields above the plate so as to haul magnetisable items over it. In relation to its lengthwise axis running in the travel direction of the magnets, the plate (3) is of bent section. The portions of it on opposite sides of this axis can slope towards each other to form a trough, and the magnet units can be of complementary shape.</p> |
