The invention relates to the field of metal surface treatment using an abrasive jet with particulate materials. The abrasive-spraying members (8) are subjected to an alternately oscillating movement, the spraying members (8) and the surfaces to be treated (3) are displaced relative to one another, and the speed of the oscillating movement is modified for specified points of the travel of the members (8).
