Water sol. and nonflammable spray coating compn. (I) Which consisted mainly of carboxyl group-contg. resin and pigment, and having solid 10-40 and volatile material 90-60wt.% such as water sol. amino compd. and solvent was obtained. The solvent consisted of water 10-50, ethyleneglycol. monoethylether 87.5-30 wt.%, and one or a mixt. of alkylacohol, alkylether or alkyl esterified alcohol 2.5-20wt. %, and various additives mixed with I as necessary.
