A first paper strip 2 is supplied from a roll (1), Fig. 1a (not shown), and secured around the book 3 by glue applied at an end portion A, and a cardboard sheet 4 is then folded around the strip 2, to which it adheres at glued areas 7. The free ends of the sheet 4 are then united by staples (6), Fig. 3 (not shown). An opening 5 may be provided for an address card, &c. |
