PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that avoids flow of excess current in a bridge circuit in a short circuit failure diagnosis of an electrification line switch.SOLUTION: A motor controller 101 controls electrification and rotating direction of a motor 8 by operating the switches SW1 to SW4 of an H bridge circuit 30. Two electrification line switches SW5, SW6 are connected in series in the direction in which parasitic diodes face each other in an electrification line LP. A pull-up resistance 41 is connected between a high potential line LH and a third node N3. A pull-down resistance 42 is connected between a fourth node N4 and a low potential line LL. Protection diodes 51, 52 are connected to the pull-up resistance 41 and a pull-down resistance 42 and disconnect regenerative current flowing from a low-potential side to a high-potential side. A failure diagnostic section 60 has drive circuits 61 to 63 and a voltage determination part 65 and performs initial failure diagnosis of each of the switches SW1 to SW6 on the basis of a first voltage V1 and a second voltage V2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
