<p>The solar energy collector uses glass cells to produce heat. Each cell can be double- or triple-glazed, and can be evacuated of air. The cell can be used to cover a solar energy collector, and can be fitted together with others to form a panel sealed off from air circulation and giving a greenhouse effect. A black body, acting as the collector can be placed inside the cell. Each cell can be formed by a used electric light bulb, and the cells can be mounted inside a transparent plastic sheath so as to produce a hot air convection current.</p> |
