Packaging system for emmentaler cheese - includes cutting whole cheese into 90 degrees sectors which are cut into two parts

The packing is for a piece of Emmenthaler cheese. The piece of cheese is in the form of a 90 deg. sector of a complete cheese block. It consists of two parts (1, 2). One part is formed by a heart piece which is cut out at the sector tip and has two sections (4, 5) which meet at right angles. The heart piece is then re-introduced and the two part cheese is packed together as a despatchable unit. The square profile heart piece (2) has an edge length which is less than the half radius of the cheese block while the diagonal of the heart piece is somewhat greater than the half radius of the cheese block.
