<p>The equipment dries the inside of a housing subjected to temp. and/or air pressure alterations esp. accommodating optical or electronic devices and not completely sealed off from the outside. The body (3) inside the housing (1) contains a cooling fluid (4), thermally coupled to the outside by heat-conductors (5, 6). Rises in the temp. take place more slowly in consequence of alterations of the outside temp. than do falls. Below the body is a collector vessel (8) for condensate dripping off it, from which a drain (9) leads to the outside.</p> |
