Decorative imitation stonework - of coloured thermosetting resin injection moulded in aluminium alloy dies cast from natural stone patterns

An injection mould of C alloy is produced from a pattern of (material contg) natural stone, in the form of a strip or a panel. This cavity obtd. is filled with a mass of suitably coloured thermosetting resin, and the prod. is the image of the natural material. The produced imitation stone is mfd. and manipulated much more quickly and easily. It can be sawn, drilled, planed and nailed or glued to a backing to give a wall closely ressembling the work of a mason.
