<p>The gas-heated infra-red irradiation unit has a pipe for the combustible gas/air mixture passing through the burner housing and containing an air intake (5). A gauze frame trap (9) is provided in the latter, to prevent blowback. The gas-pipe (3) containing the intake can be enclosed by a length of pipe (6) of larger diameter, with flame traps at the ends. This length of pipe can be fixed to the gas pipe or to the burner housing (1). The gas supply can be connected to the top of the housing.</p> |
