A head position converting device by rotating the stepped-cam was comprised of a stepped-cam, a fleewheel having teeth for driving the stepped-cam, a converting-cam combined with the stepped-cam and having link parts, and an auxuliary lever for inducing the link parts of the converting-cam to the rotating track of teeth of the fleewheel. The electromagnet was able to be move vertically or horizontally and was connected with the teeth of the fleewheel when moving vertically.
