PURPOSE:To easily obtain sheets short of change of thickness by equipping more than two rotary development jigs which are in point or line contact with a cylindrical foaming substance in its progressive direction at a certain interval and developing the foaming substance in the form of a flat plate along the jigs. CONSTITUTION:Cylindrical polystylene foaming substance pushed out of a circular metal mold is introduced to a cylindrical body 2 and is cooled and expanded by the air continuously blown between the metal and the cylindrical body, is formed into the shape of a cylinder, is incised with a kinfe 3, brought to 1/2 circular rolls 4, 1/5 circular rolls 5 or spherical jigs and is turned flat through a pair of straight rolls 6. Then the foaming substance, being held between pairs of straight rolls 6, 8, is heated through a heating room 7 and cooled uniformly and hardened as soon as it passes the straight rolls 8. As the rolls 4, 5 are used rolls of 1/2 circle and 1/4- 1/6 circle in the locus developed from a circle to a straight line or spherical jigs which can be rotated according to the pulling speed of a developed sheet and rolls of aluminium, iron, plastics are used. |
