PURPOSE:To provide a steering deivce for a multi-purpose vehicle adapted for a tobacco leaf reaping machine which can sense steering feeding similarly by correcting the switching operation of a handwheel at forward and reverse moving time. CONSTITUTION:This vehicle can move forwardly or reversely by setting switch levers 19, 24 of pinions 3, 13, respectively to rectilinear switches 16, 21, respectivley at rectilinearly moving time. When turning to the left during rectilinear movement, a drive wheel switching valve 32 is manually shfited to the right, and a select valve 30 is shifted to the left side position, and a handwheel 61 is turned counterclockwise. Then, a switching valve 60 is changed over to the right side position to thereby supply high hydraulic oil to the lower oil chamber of the front side hydraulic cylinder 9 to thus turn the front wheels 1, 2 via the engagement of the pinion with the rack counterclockwise. In reverse movement, the valve 32 and the select valve 30 are reversely shifted. When turning to the right, the handwheel 61 is turned clockwise to switch the valve 60 to the left position, and to supply high hydraulic pressure to the lower oil chamber of the rear side cylinder 12. |
