PURPOSE:To eliminate the movement of printing, by mounting a clutch device between a type wheel and a motor for providing the wheel with power. CONSTITUTION:When selected type on a type wheel 2 is located at a fixed printing position by the trnasfer of a carriage 18 and the revolution of a motor 8, an armature 11 is absorbed, a disc 7 and a clutch disc 6 unified with the disc 7 are shifted in the platen direction along a shaft 3 against the force of a push spring 10, the disc 7 is detached from a friction gear 9 and the revolution of the motor 8 is not transmitted to the shaft 3. The revolution of the shadt 3 is mechanically stopped instantaneously by connection between a connecting piece 16 and a notch connecting portion 71 of the disc 7, and the type wheel 2 perfectly rests. |
