<p>The combustion engine runs on fuel mixture and uses spark ignition. It comprises a cylinder (1) with reciprocating piston (2) connected (14) to a crankshaft (15), a main combustion chamber (4) between piston and cylinder head (3) with inlet (6) and exhaust valve (8), and an auxiliary piston (10) moving in an auxiliary cylinder (9) in the head (3). The cylinder (9) forms an auxiliary working chamber (11) and has a sparking plug and a fuel injector (13). the piston (10) is connected (17) with the crankshaft and moves in anti-phase but advanced by a few degrees of crank angle relative to the main piston (2).</p> |
