Jointless thermal insulation of outside walls with rigid foam - e.g. polyurethane or polyisocyanurate by foaming in situ behind each facade panel in turn

Prodn. of jointless thermal insulation on outside walls by application of foamed in situ polyisocyanates, e.g. polyurethane (PUR) or polyisocyanurate (PIR) rigid foam, involves placing facade panels at a distance from and parallel to the wall, using spacers to give the required thickness, and filling with PUR or PIR foam. The procedure is continued in horizontal strips, starting at the bottom, by putting the next facade panel in place and filling with foam. A level surface is produced without additional treatment and this is suitable for plastering if necessary.
