The plough has mouldboard legs in opposition to return springs about horizontal axes above and in front of the share tips on overload. The frame has, for each leg, a cam track against which a guide roller on the leg runs, working with the return spring mechanism. A pivot axis (42) of the beam (12) is a pivot pin (13) in front of the cam track in the travel direction and mounted in a recess limiting the amount for which the beam can swing vertically. In the working position of the beam, a locking member on which the guide roller (23) is mounted, is held by the return spring into engagement with a notch (21) in the cam track.
