Use of an extract of Musa sapientum to promote and/or reinforce skin cell cohesion is claimed. ACTIVITY : None given. MECHANISM OF ACTION : Focal adhesion kinase expression stimulator. The ability of the extract to stimulate expression of focal adhesion kinase was tested in normal human fibroblast. The result showed that the extract (comprising Musa sapientum) exhibited the stimulatory effect of 120% at a concentration of 0.05% when compared to control. |
