Wood chip and bark burning equipment - uses combustion gases in counterflow to heat material directly or indirectly

Industrial equipment for burning tree bark and wood chips, includes a drying drum from which combustion gases are discharged at a temperature of about 100 deg.C underneath the bottom of the silo containing the wood material. The gases then enter the smoke stack. The wet material is dried by the combustion gases from the furnace which before reaching their dew point are used to heat it directly or indirectly, as it is conveyed from the storage vessel, in counterflow.
