PURPOSE:To obtain abrasion-resisting, light-resisting, clear pictures, by using printing ink in which a pigment or a mixture of pigment and dye is dispersed in a vehicle consisting of a special denatured hydrocarbon resin dissolved in a high melting point petroleum solvent, and operating flash illumination. CONSTITUTION:Heat-copolymerized resin consisting of cyclopentadiene monomer, 90-70wt%, and chain-form conjugated diene, 10-30wt% is subjected to reaction with resol type phenol compound-formaldehyde resin initial condensation, 5-25wt parts with respect to 100 parts of the resin. The resultant substance is further denatured by the oxide hardner component of natural or synthetic petroleum dry oil, dry oil denatured alkyd resin, etc. By using printing ink in which a pigment or a mixture of pigment and dye is dispersed in a vehicle consisting of this denatured hydrocarbon dissolved in a high melting point petroleum solvent, an ink picture is formed on a plastic molding and this is exposed to flash illumination by a xenon light stroboscope, and thereby a fixded picture is formed. |
