PURPOSE:To make the pouring metal leakage and breakage accident of the pouring nozzle for continuous casting and rolling obsolete by fixing the position of the pouring nozzle by an adjusting mechanism and disposing a mechanism of pressing a tundish by way of a packing to the rear part on the molten metal inlet side of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:A pouring nozzle 3 is fixed to the upper part of an adjusting mechanism 3' aside from a tundish 2 and is possible to be adjusted in its parallelism, movement and level so as to be surely and rapidly adjusted in the gap of rolling rolls 4, 4'. The tundish 2 is provided with four wheels 6 moving on a rail 7 and is pressed to the pouring nozzle 3 which is set by a hydraulic mechanism 8 via packing 9. In this way, the pouring outlet of the tundish is connected surely to the inlet side of the pouring nozzle 3. This device enables the set time of the pouring nozzle 3 to be reduced considerably, makes molten metal leakage and breakage accident absolete, and enables productivity to be improved. |
