The upper part (1) is connected in a stable manner to the lower part (2) of the balance by means of four pins (5) made of stainless spring steel. Each pin (5) is pressed with one end into a bearing piece (7) which is removable at the end of a carrier (3) arranged in the lower part (2). There are two elastic carriers (3) which extend parallel to one another and which are clamped to the lower part (2) in their middle parts. The other end of each pin (5) is pressed into a bearing piece (10) which is retained removably on the upper part (1). The pins (5) can be subjected to tensile load. Each elastic carrier (3) is supported on the lower part (2) via a respective helical spring (8) arranged on both sides of the clamping point (6). These helical springs (8) are displaceable to a limited extent transversely relative to the carrier (3) in a transmission lever (19). As a result of the displacement of the helical springs (8), the electrical signals of the measuring elements (4) attached to the carriers (3) are balanced mechanically during calibration. <IMAGE>
