1. A method comprising:
providing a physiologic suspension solution into a cell resuspension tub through a first connector connected to a bottom portion of the cell resuspension tub,
the first connector having a passageway configured for allowing the physiologic suspension solution to pass through the first connector; agitating, automatically via an agitator device comprising a second connector, the cell resuspension tub while the second connector is removably coupled to the first connector,
the cell resuspension tub including the physiologic suspension solution and at least one surgical article,the at least one surgical article retaining cells to be resuspended; and removing, from the cell resuspension tub through the first connector while the first connector is removably coupled to the second connector, a solution including at least a portion of the physiologic suspension solution and resuspended cells released from the at least one surgical article,
wherein the first connector connected to the bottom portion of the cell resuspension tub is connected to tubing, the tubing comprising at least one of:
inlet tubing configured for receiving the physiologic suspension solution into the cell resuspension tub through the first connector,outlet tubing configured for removing the solution including at least a portion of the physiologic suspension solution and resuspended cells from the cell resuspension tub through the first connector, anda y-type tubing connection configured for receiving the physiologic suspension solution into the cell resuspension tub through the first connector, and configured for removing the solution including at least a portion of the physiologic suspension solution and resuspended cells from the soaking tub through the first connector, wherein the agitator device comprises:
a motor;a heater; anda controller device configured to:
control operation of a fluid input system connected to the cell resuspension tub and configured to control the providing of the physiologic suspension solution into the cell resuspension tub,control the heater to heat the physiologic suspension solution,control operation of the motor to agitate the cell resuspension tub, andcontrol operation of a fluid output system connected to the cell resuspension tub and configured to control the removing of the solution from the cell resuspension tub. |
