The electrical contact system is for a matuisc of terminals grouped in twos zand/or threes etc. The terminals may be set in a chessboard style of base surface, connection between the terminals in any group of two etc. being by a hand moved conducting disc. The board (1) is made up from a reopreme (RTM) type material loaded with a powerful magnetic filler pref. having a field perpendicular to the board surface. The board will normally be marked out in squares as a chess-board the terminals (7, 8) being connected to the appropriate circuitry from its rear face. The interconnecting discs (4) are of an electrically conducting and magnetic material such as a nickel based alloy and have a plastic upper section (5) shaped as appropriate to their application.
