<p>The cutter has a square section shaft (1) which is held and made to rotate by the return angle of an agricultural borer, with the aid of a plate clamp (2) while the opposite end of the shaft carries the penetration and centering cone (3). The shaft also carries the crown plate(8) which carries the spiral blades (9, 10, 11) at the ends of radial spokes(7), so that the tools move spoil (12) from the edge into the hole (6). Loose spoil is compacted into the hole by a spiral plate (4) which bears down on the bottom of the hole (5) under the full weight of the cutter.</p> |
