<p>The protective filter prevents impurities such as feathers, insects, straw, mud etc. from passing through it. It is made of a frame which supports either a woven screen or a flat perforated plate. These can be in front of or around the radiator. The frame is of light construction and the protecting sheet is thin to allow rapid fitting and removal, including cleaning actions. Apart from preventing the radiator from becoming choked the filter also protects it from damage from stones etc.</p> |
