<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to input information with superior manipulation and selectivity by making a decision on whether an input indication is significant or insignificant by decision information from a decision information generating circuit and a detection signal from a detecting circuit. CONSTITUTION:Detecting circuit 6 detects a change in current supplied to two selected driving lines including a required position inside of the closed loop via two detection line selected by detecting-line selecting circuit 5 so that the required position will be sandwiched between the both. Then, decision information generating circuit 15 generates decision information for deciding whether the input indication of indication dar 7 on current driving lines D1...Dm+2 or detection lines S1...Sn+2 is significant or insignificant. The decision information from this circuit 15 and a detection signal from circuit 6 are used to make a decision on whether the input indication is significant or not. While any of input item has no area to which information can not be input, boundaries between adjacent input items can be made into areas to which information can not be input, so that information can be input with excellent manipulation and selectivity.</p> |
