The invention relates to a method for soldering a first part (P1), made of steel and including a peripheral edge (BP), onto a portion (PS) of a second part (P2) made of aluminium. Said method includes: a step (i) in which said portion (PS) is inclined relative to a horizontal direction, and then the non-oxidised peripheral edge (BP) is placed against said portion (PS), with the upper surface (FE) thereof oriented upwards; and a step (ii) in which there is generated on the portion (PS), in an area located at a selected distance above said end surface (FE), an aluminium-based solder bath (BS) with a cold metal transfer torch (TS), said solder bath (BS) then being lowered by gravity until it abuts the end surface (FE), and the solder bath (BS) then being allowed to solidify. |
