A strip carrying devices for processing electrical signals, and a method of producing the strip

The invention relates to a strip 10 formed by an electrically insulating substrate 19 carrying conductive zones 20 regularly distributed along its length and each provided with at least one device 11 for processing electrical signals, and also with contact regions. The device has an array of conductors 16 of which the outer ends are connected to respective connecting points 21 belonging to the corresponding conductive zone. To make such a strip 10 the conductive zones 20 are formed on a flexible continuous film 10 of the cinematograph type, and electrical devices 11 contained in openings 14 in a second strip 12 are positioned aligned with these conductive zones, cut away and connected to the zones.
