A crimpable composite nylon filament consisting of two continuous adherents and essentric components is prepared for improvements of stretch hoisiery. The nylon filament consists of two types of components - one is made up wit a crystalline, a fiber forming homopolyamide such as polyhexamethylene-dodecanedioamide, polyhexamethyleneadipamide and poly-εcaproamide, and the other components consisting of a monoisomorphic, fiber-forming random copolymer such as hexamethyleneadipamide unit and ε-caproamide of at least 25-45%.
