INSTALLATION FOR ELECTROSTATICALLY DEPOSITING PARTICLES OF DIELECTRIC COATING MATERIAL

The floor portion of a booth in an installation for electrostatically depositing particles of dielectric coating material is provided by an endless conveyor belt mounted between opposite side wall portions of the booth. Articles to be coated are passed through the booth in one direction and the endless belt is driven so that the upper reach travels in the same direction. A jet of air is directed in the opposite direction on to the outlet end of the upper reach of the endless belt to fluidize particles which have settled on the belt and electrostatic means are provided for charging the particles fluidized by this jet.
