PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transmission device capable of suppressing an out-of-band spectrum.SOLUTION: A transmission device blocking a data symbol to a block symbol and transmitting a blocked data symbol includes: a fixed-symbol arrangement unit 2 that generates the block symbol including the data symbol and one same-quadrant symbol which is arranged at a predetermined position in the block symbol and which becomes a signal point in a same quadrant in a complex plane; and an interpolation unit 4 that performs interpolation processing on the block symbol. The symbol arrangement unit 2 arranges a first symbol series including a fixed symbol such that a last symbol of the first symbol series becomes a last symbol of the block symbol, and arranges a second symbol series including a fixed symbol and the same-quadrant symbol arranged before the fixed symbol such that the same-quadrant symbol becomes a head symbol of the block symbol.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
