Crimped polyester fiber is manufd. by drawing and falsetwisting of non-drawn polyester multifilament having 5-10 number of round lobe which is projected in direction of radius with the same angle and distance, and 1.05<= R1/R0 <= 1.16 (where R0 and R1 is the radius of an imaginary inscribed circle of filament and an imaginary circumscribed circle, resp.).
